RunBlogRun, American Track & Field, and American Athletics has always recommended running camps for runners of all ages. This runner (now editor) used to drive up to Tuolome Meadows and train up there for a summer focus. This is a release from Jim Ryun Running Camps, who worked with us before to promote their camps. Launched in 1975 by three-time Olympian and five-time World Record holder Jim Ryun, the Jim Ryun Running Camps are more than just running Camps. They teach a way of life, from training young runners to achieve their full potential in running to creating good habits for living while building character. A pattern of goal setting is taught to help them exceed even what they thought they could achieve—on and off the track.

Producing dozens of Division I, II, and III All-Americans, state high school champions and Olympians, and World Championship team members, the Jim Ryun Running Camp is unique amongst its peers in that it does not focus solely on training the young runner physically but also mentally and spiritually. Over the years, the Jim Ryun Running Camp has become the premier high school running and cross-country camp, counting among its alums Ryan and Sara Hall, Josh and Jordan McDougal, Jenny Simpson and others.

Since 1975, our running Camps have contributed to the development of countless young runners by teaching them what it takes to become the complete runner – physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Come join us for a week like none other. You will leave Camp inspired and set up with the right tools to make your next season a great success!
