Winner Kenyan Ishmael Kipkurui (20 years old) 26:50.21 WL/debut followed by Eritrean Habtom Samuel 26:51.06 PB and third South African Adrian Wildschutt 26:51.27. In the fourth Telahun Haile’s 26:52.79 debut and fifth, Graham Blanks’s 26:57.30 big PB. In sixth India record for Gulveer Singh 27:00.22. Irish record for twelfth Efrem Gidey (27:26.95), and NR for Uruguay by Valentin Soca (27:37.65) at 17th. Elise Cranny won women in 30:36.56 WL but missed Tokyo standard 30:20. Behind her were Weini Kelati, 30:38.60, and Briton Calli Hauger-Thackery, 30:53.73 EL/big PB for European half marathon medallist. Four more went sub 31 minutes, fourth Taylor Roe 30:58.66 PB, fifth Australian Lauren Ryan 30:58.69, sixth Emily Infeld 30:59.38 PB at age 35, and seventh Jessica McClain 30:59.71 PB. In the 1500 m Moroccan Fouad Mesaoudi 3:35.55.
