1. The Xiamen Diamond League opener lived up to the hype, surpassing the hype with Mondo Duplantis setting WR in pole vault of 6.24 meters and Gudaf Tsegay running 3:50.30 over 1,500m, #3 all time!
2. Kip Keino Continental Tour Gold stop had Ethan Katzberg throwing the hammer 84.38m, the farthest HT in sixteen years!
3. Kenny Bednarek won the 100m, and Courtney Lindsay upset Letsile Tebogo in 19.71 over the furlong.
4. Two fantastic track meets, one in Kenya and one in China, celebrated our sport on April 20.
5. On Sunday, April 21, the London Marathon saw a record 53,000 plus finishers. Alexander Munyao won the Men’s elite race in 2:04.01, and Peres Jepchirchir won the women’s elite race in an all-out sprint with 4 over the last 400 meters, Peres winning in WR 2:16.16.
