President of UK Athletics
Denise Lewis has been elected President of UK Athletics, and Hannah England Vice-President in a recent vote by the members.
The highlight of Heptathlete Lewis’ career was the 2000 Olympic gold medal. She also won Olympic bronze, two World Championship silvers, two Commonwealth golds, and a European gold (1994-2000). Since retiring, she has worked in Television and media.
Hannah England was second and fourth in the World Championship 1500m (2011 and 2013). She is a regular announcer/commentator at track and field meets around the world.
