1. The NCAA Regionals lived up to their hype.
2. Congrats to WCAC teams Gonzaga and Portland (warning, I ran for SCU Broncos 1976-1982), who kicked Some serious butt at NCAA Regionals!
3. We will have Oliver Hinson writing for us at NCAA Div 1 XC this year!
4. Caught up with Mike Rowbottom this week; fine writer, and one of my favorites. Mike will be writing for RunBlogRun on a weekly basis; we are pretty excited about that.
5. Carles Baronet, the fine stats man from Catalonia, will be providing World Results for RunBlogRun beginning this month, I am traveling this week, so expect to see it next week!
6. Still thinking about the NYC Marathon and the performances of Tamirat Tola and Hellen Obiri.
7. Tamirat Tola came on the world scene with a win in the Dubai Marathon in 2017. #DubaiMarathon is Jan. 7, 2024. A fast race!
8. Pace Events is managing the RAK Half Marathon; look for that race at the end of February; details to come! Fast, Fast race!
9. Still think #JoshKerr and #DannyMackey did not get the recognition that they deserve over Josh’s 1,500m gold! What do you think?
