Some are recovering from too much turkey, a hard Turkey Trot, or perhaps a hard workout.
Recover runs keep you sane, and your body should thank you for taking an easy day.
Your workout:
Warm-up,
45-55 minutes, moderate pace,
6×150 meters stride out,
cooldown.
This is the workout that I would do with Gary Goettlemann after he closed up the show at Ryan’s Sports in the late 1970s. Gary got me to do stride-outs, he challenged me to get under 34 minutes in the 10k (I ran 32:53 on track), and to see what my limits really were. His wife, Gail, his son, Steve still manage Ryans sport shop near Santa Clara University. It is a great running store.
