- Sara Vaughn, mom of 4, runs a huge PB of 2:23.24, third American and 10th overall!
- 48,500 finished the 2023 Bank of America Chicago Marathon as of 5 P.M. Central time, October 8, 2023.
- Near perfect weather for a marathon, perhaps best since the 1990s!
