This is Sunday, October 8, 2023.
This is your workout for the Sunday.
Today is the long run day.
Your workout today is warm-up, 75-90 minutes, moderate, cool-down.
Long runs build your strength, both physical and mental. During college, my Sunday runs with Paul Gyorey, Danny Greco, and Gerhard Behrens were my favorite runs of the week. I loved being up in the Santa Cruz Mountains and enjoying the absolute immense forces of nature. Running in between Redwoods, I always felt that I was running with these great life forms. The sun coming through the branches of these giant living things was always calming.
