- Jakob Ingebrigtsen takes a new WR at the 2,000 meters, which had been held by Hicham El Guerrouj since 7 September 1999 at 4:44.79, as the young Norwegian runs 4:43.13.
- Kenny Bednarek ran 19.79, and Zharnel Hughes ran 19.82. Andre De Grasse runs his finest run of the year in 19.89.

- Shericka Jackson ran the furlong in 21.48, with Anthonique Strachan at 22.31 and Jenna Prandini at 22.47.
- Cynthia Bolingo upsets Leike Klaver, 50.09 to 50.16, with Shamier Little, 50.58.
- Laura Muir runs the race of the year in 3:55.34, pushing by Ciara Mageean, who broke the Irish NR once again in 3:55.87. Ninth place was 3:59.19.
- Lilian Rengeruk, KEN, won the 5,000m in 14;26.46. Medina Eisa, ETH, 14:28.94, Nozomi Tanaka, JPN, 14:29.18.
- Femke Bol runs 52.11 to win the 400 m hurdles, Janieve Russell, JAM, 53.80, and Rushell Clayton, JAM, 54.10.
- Yaroslava Mahuchikh, UKR, takes the HJ in 2.00m. Angelina Topic, SRB, 1.97 NR, and Eleanor Patterson, AUS, 1.94m.
- Shaneika Ricketts won the TJ in 15.01m, Marnya Bekh Romanchuk took second in 14.57m, Thea Lefond, 14.49m.
- Chase Ealey wins the shot put in 20.05m, Sarah Mitton, CAN, took second in 19.76m, Maggie Ewan in 19.64m.
- Haruka Kitaguchi, JPN, won the javelin in 6.7.38m NR. Victoria Hudson, AUT, 64.65m, Lita Muze-Sirma, 63.00m.
