Laura Muir is Olympic silver and world bronze medalist at 1,500m, and one of the most popular athletes in the world.
She has had a crazy year, as she changed her long-time coaching relationship to UK Endurance coach Steve Vernon. In a recent interview, Laura Muir praised her new coach and how natural it is working with Steve Vernon, who your editor knew as the NB club coach before taking the UK Endurance coaching position.
Laura ran in the toughest semi-final of the women’s 1,500m, running a 3:56. This interview was done after the rounds, some of the fastest this writer has seen.
One other note, Laura told an interviewer that she expects the British NR to be broken in the Budapest final.
