BATON ROUGE (USA, May 13): LSU Bernie Moore Stadium witnessed a huge display of shape by Britton Wilson. On the final day of the SEC Conference, she won the 400 m in 49.13 WL, the college record and fourth-best US all-time (fastest since 2009). After that, she clocked another impressive time, 53.28 in the 400 m hurdles (missed PB by 0.05). In the second place, Tierra Robinson-Jones with 50.54 PB and Masai Russell with 55.21. Alia Armstrong clocked 12.40 (+0.4) hurdles PB over Jamaican Ackera Nugent’s 12.43 PB and Masai Russell’s 12.47. Jacious Sears won 100 m in 10.96 (+0.9) PB ahead of Kaila Jackson (U20) 11.04. McKenzie Long won the 200 m in 22.39 (0.0) over Sears in 22.45. Michaela Rose won the 800 m in 1:59.73 and Parker Valby the 5000 m in 15:25.03. Jamaican Lamara Distin cleared 191 in the high jump, Jasmine Moore 14.14 (+0.8) in triple, and Veronica Fraley 62.84 PB in discus. Good relays, LSU 42.92 ahead of Kentucky 42.93 and TexasAM 3:26.64 in the 4×400 m.
