This is May 6, 2023.
It is a race day!
Yesterday, I wanted two tough races.
The women’s steeplechase, where two Americans hit barriers; one kept going, and one stopped.
The men’s 3000 meters, where the top 4 were on near world record pace!
Elite athletes are just beginning their seasons.
High school athletes are near the climax of their seasons.
Watch your sleep, keep easy days easy, and hydrate.
Pleas stay away from carbonated drinks as they slow down your recovery from workouts!
Your workout today, warm up slowly and long, race the 800m or 1,500m and give it your very best, and then cool down well.
