This is our program, #forshoegeeks. We are reviewing the New Balance 1080 Fresh Foam. #runblogrun‘s Larry Eder speaks about using NB last summer for six weeks and about the ride of #FreshFoam, from #NewBalance, the history of the brand, and the commitment of NB to grassroots running.
New Balance has been around since 1912. Jim Davis and his team purchased the brand in 1970. I recall seeing my first NB training shoe in 1974 at Crystal Springs on one of my Bellarmine teammates.
NB is the sponsor for the London and NYC Marathons and just over two weeks ago, NB hosted 5800 athletes at the New Balance Indoor Nationals at The TRACK at new balance over March 9-12, 2023.
We will be reviewing several more New Balance shoes in the next few months.
