This is a workout for Week 3, Day 4 of the 2023 RunBlogRun Winter Training Block.
This is Thursday, January 19, 2023.
Our workout today is a hill workout. We love hills, they are gateways to building endurance, speed, and fitness. The trick is finding the way that works best for you and that is where listening to your coach comes in.
Our suggested workout: Warm up slowly, 30-minute moderate run, then, 6-8 times 250m hill, charge the hill, work it, and jog or walk down, fifteen minutes of moderate running, then finish with 6 x 150m stride outs, stressing speed and good form, then, a slow cooldown.
