We plan three recovery weeks after each season. Many of your fellow cross-country runners are testing their fitness level by doing a short indoor season or a fast, flat road 5k or 10k to see if they can set a new PB. We encourage a race or two, but we do encourage at least two weeks of recovery.
Your workout today, warm up slowly, 30-40 minutes of easy running, then a cooldown.
