I loved my long runs. In high school, I would go 70-80 minutes. In college and post-college, I would go 2 hours, 20 minutes to 2 hours, 40 minutes. I loved the runs in the Santa Cruz mountains and the long walk along the Rock River, watching the bald eagles and hawks. During my long runs, I wrote almost all of my best history and philosophy papers at university. Free forming thoughts, long runs let you concentrate on the hills as we would climb back up from the valley in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Your workout for today is warm up slowly, 75-90 minutes long run, cooldown.
