This is your workout for day five, for Week Ten, at the 2022 RunBlogRun Fall Cross Country Training & Racing Program. We are now into the big weekend for state high school cross country meets, which have been going on since the middle of October. Keep it easy today.
Recovery days are key to your success.

When I discovered recovery days in my senior year in college, it changed my racing life. The easy days during racing season allowed me to increase my quality days, and the slower runs that I kept for easy days helped me recover from the tough days. I encourage you to begin using them in high school-they are life changers.
Your workout for today: warm up slow, run 45-55 minutes moderate pace, and then, finish with 4 times a 150 meter stride out, cooldown easy.
Good luck on Saturday!
