Hills can build strength. Hills can build speed. Hills can help you build endurance.
Hills are a secret weapon for many.
Thursdays are your hill workout day.
Today’s workout is a warm-up, then a 60-minute fartlek workout, with three ten-minute drives up hills or a series of hills. In between the hill runs, catch your breath by moderate running, reaching a total running of an hour. Finish up with 6 x 150-meter stride outs, then cooldown, stretch, and get out of your wet clothes.
