This is the first day of the week, in Week Eight of the 2022 RunBlogRun Fall Cross Country Training & Racing Program.
Recovery is one of the key points of modern training. Workouts are developed by coaches to put stress on the athlete, and recovery days diminish the stress of hard days, allowing our mortal engines to gain benefits from the workouts.
We plan recovery days three times during a given seven-day week.
Your workout today is a slow warm-up, 45-55 minutes of running, six times 150-meter stride-outs, then a slow cooldown. Please hydrate after a workout and change into warm and dry clothing.
