Our picture today with Yeman Crippa. Yemane was raised in Italy as his family emigrated from Ethiopia. I met Yeman at the Milano marathon in 2019. Yeman had taken fourth in the 10,000m in 2018. In 2022, Yeman took the bronze in the 5,000 meters and then became the first Italian to win the 10,000m in 33 years, taking the gold with an insane last 150 meters in the 25 lap race.
Today’s workout for August 24, 2022, is, warm up with 45 minutes of relaxed running in the woods, on trails, just soft ground, six times a 150-meter stride-outs, then a nice cooldown.
