This interview was done by EuroRadio for its members, with Courtney Frerichs, the American record holder in the steeplechase.
Courtney Frerichs took the World Champs silver medal in London 2017, following Emma Coburn, who had take the gold. In Tokyo 2020, Courtney won the Olympic silver medal in the steeplechase.
Courtney is the American record holder at 8:57.77 in the steeplechase.

Larry Eder has had a 52-year involvement in the sport of athletics. Larry has experienced the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now, journalist and blogger.
