This is Thursday, in week 4, day 4 of the 2022 RunBlogRun Summer Cross Country Mileage Program.
I wanted to speak with you about Grant Fisher. In the recent World Champs, Grant took 4th in the 10,000m and 6th in the 5,000m. His 4th was best by an American since 2013 and Galen Rupp’s 4th in Moscow. Grant is a tough runner, graduated from Stanford, and has spent the last 3 years with Bowerman AC.

He is so tough, and he was in the final made sprint in the 10,000m and 5,000m. As he gets more experience, Grant will improve his placings. He is a true talent.
Your workout for today, July 28, 2022, is warm-up, a 30-minute run, easy to finish hard, then, 8 times 200m hill (should take about 90 seconds, these are tough hills), cooldown.
