Today is day two of week two of the RunBlogRun Summer Cross Country Mileage Program. If you follow our workouts and tips for 8 weeks, we will have you ready to race for Fall Cross Country.
Starting this weekend, we have the World Championships of Track & Field, or as they are formally called, the World Athletics Outdoor Championships. 1900 athletes from 192 countries will be competing for the gold, silver, and bronze medals, and to showcase their country in the world of global athletics. While the US will bet somewhere around 25-35 medals, most countries will be happy to have an athlete or two in the top six! Just to make it to the World Champs is a huge feat.

Your workout for today, July 12, 2022, is warm up, 6 x 200m hills, jog down between each, pump your arms, lift your knees, keep your head down, and then, run an easy 30 minutes, then, cooldown.
