This is Emily Infeld. She made the world championship team at 10,000m in 2015, and in the final steps of the Beijing World Championships, sprinted to a bronze medal at Molly Huddle, her teammate, dropped to fourth at the line. Emily Infeld had put all of her focus into that last lap and Molly had, unfortunately, let up just a bit at the finish line.
Emily Infeld battled injuries and setbacks after 2015, and finally, this season, came back healthy and very fit. In the 10,000m US trials, she missed out on the team to Natosha Rogers, by centimeters. Emily had to regroup after that.

Emily held on, and as Weini Kalati dropped back, knew she was in the top 3. She battled Karissa Schweizer and Elise Cranny went for the win.
