ANDUJAR (ESP, Jun 4): Jordan Diaz who jumps for Spain, achieved at the WACT Bronze meet here European triple jump lead and a national record 17.30m twice in the fifth and sixth round. Behind him World indoor record holder Hugues Fabrice Zango 17.09m (+0.3). Chilean Gabriel Kehr won the hammer with a national record of 77.66m over Javier Cienfuegos’s 76.79m. Ukrainian Roman Kokoshko improved in the shot put to 20.71m ahead of Brazilian Willian Dourado’s 20.49m. Mohamed Ismail from Djibouti won the steeple at 8:24.67, in the 400 m hurdles Juander Santos 49.96, and Cuban Shainer Reginfo 20.51 PB (+0.8) in the 200 m. On the women’s side, Fatima Diame confirmed good shape with 6.76m (+0.2) in the long jump, also Flor Denis Ruiz from Colombia 61.00m in the javelin. Angela Tenorio from Ecuador won the 100 m in 11.33 (+1.0), Marina Martinez the 800 m in 2:02.33 PB. Mary Isabel Senyu from the Dominican Republic cleared 1.88m PB in the high jump.
