Ajee’ Wilson has this nice thing/ warrior thing going. When I see her in a hotel lobby, she smiles, we catch up, and she makes you feel like you are the only person in the room. That is a gift.
When Ajee’ Wilson gets on the track, she is a warrior. The World Champs gold solidified, in my mind, just how talented and savvy she is, and Ajee’ trusts her judgment.
The ability to turn it on, turn it off, allows one to focus their gaze on the task at hand. Multi-tasking brings on anxiety. Do one thing at a time. Stay focused.
