Cooper Teare is our focus today.
Cooper Teare won the Men’s 1,500m title at the 2022 US Championships, giving him a position on the US team for the World Championships, July 15-July 24, 2022 in Eugene, Oregon.
Cooper Teare was a fine high school runner and he did amazingly well at Oregon, where he trained daily with Cole Hocker. Cole was injured and did not make the semi-finals of the 1,500m, Cooper did.
In the final, Cooper Teare, who had already made the World Champs qualifying time, ran a swift 37.93 last 300 meters to take the win out of several other runners’ hands!
His race was brilliant and he was one happy camper when he finished! On to the World Champs!
Your workout today, June 29, 2022, is a warm-up, then, 30-minute run, then a cooldown.
