Mo Ahmed is a runner from Canada. Mo was a “Badger” and graduated from UW Wisconsin. While Mo was at Wisconsin, he won 11 All-American awards in cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field.
I like Mo’s racing style, which is to mix it up, get in there, and see who’s the toughest. Mo has competed on the global stage since London 2012 and took the bronze medal at the 5,000m in Doha 2019 World Champs as well as a gutty 6th in the 10,000m in Doha.

In Tokyo last year, Mo took the silver medal at the 5,000m, and was 6th once again at the 10,000 meters. Mo had a great sense of humor, and we loved interviewing him in Doha 2019. He was just so happy to medal and loved the tough nature of the race!
Looking forward to seeing Mo Ahmad, aka Mo speed on social media in Eugene for the World Champs!
