Today, we are speaking about Natosha Rogers. Natosha runs for the Brooks Hanson’s Original Distance Project. The Brothers Hanson are fine American runners, who own a running store and have been developing up-and-coming runners in the US for over a decade. When Brooks sponsored them in 2011, they made the front page of the business section of the Wall Street Journal.
Natosha Rogers is a fine athlete with a dream. She made the Olympic team in 2012, finishing second in the 10,000m in 31:59.1 after winning the NCAA 10,000m. Natosha did not compete in London, as she was injured. In 2016 Olympic Trials, she was 13th in the 10,000m. In 2021, Natosha finished 7th in the Olympic Trials for the 10,000m, in 31:59.9.
On May 27, 2022, Natosha Rogers battled Emily Infeld, the 2015 World Champ bronze medalist at 10,000m, to the finish, taking third in 31:29.80. Natosha made a World Champs team, a decade after making her first, and she is healthy, once again, and will compete in Eugene, Oregon at the World Champs, from July 15-July 24.
That is perseverance.
