BATON ROUGE (USA, Apr 9): NCAA indoor champion Abby Steiner showed top shape at Joe May Invitational. In the 100 m, she improved to 10.92 WL (+0.5). Number five in collegiate history in USA. Behind her Nigerian Favour Ofili, 11.00 PB followed by Mikiah Brisco 11.04 and Aleia Hobbs at 11.08. Steiner also won the 200 m in outdoor PB 22.38 against -5.6 wind. She helped Kentucky to fast 42.46 in the 4×100 m ahead of LSU 42.69. World champion at 100 m, Christian Coleman won the 200 m in 20.25 (-0.9). It was his first race at the distance since July 2019. Behind him Dorian Camel improved to 20.31 and third 400 m runner Vernon Norwood 20.44. First sub 45 of his career by Tyler Johnson with 44.95. U20 sprinter Brume Okeoghene from Nigeria won the 100 m in 10.22 (+1.4). Masai Russell improved in the 100 m hurdles to 12.75 (+0.7). Tiger Olympians went 3:01.99 in the men 4×400 m, Andrew Liskowitz won shot 20.19 and Julian Collins long jump with 805 PB (+0.4).
