The Meeting Hauts de France, Pas de Calais Arena Stade Couvert is in Lieven, France. Everyone, athlete, fan, journalist, who have gone to Lieven, love it. Grant Holloway, the world indoor record holder in the 60m hurdles, told the meet announcer how much he loved the crowd and appreciated the five thousand fans this year. The Meeting Lieven delivered. The 60-meter sprint to the 60m hurdles to the pole vaults, and the middle distance races all kept the fan’s interest. Watching via the streaming video, the announcers kept our attention.
Marcell Jacobs, the 2021 Olympic 100m champion was quite impressive, winning once again in 6.50. Jacobs will be more of a threat as we get into the outdoor season, but his start makes him deadly indoors.
