In a survey of world record holders, and national record holders, many experienced a similar experience. Halfway through the event, there was a time that they either had to truly commit or give up the ghost. There was a point of no return. Either commit or not. We have similar experiences in all facets of life. The biggest lesson that running taught this writer was to never give up on your dreams. That goes at 15 and much, much older. Enjoy your run today.
