Elaine Thompson-Herah, the Tokyo Olympic champion at 100m, 200m and part of the gold medal winning Team Jamaica female 4x100m relay team is your 2021 World Athletics Female Athlete of the Year. Elaine won this one the old fashioned way, as she battled the top femaile sprinters in the world and won. Her 10.54 in the 100m was astounding. And on top of that she battled the likes of Sifan Hassan, Sydney McLaughlin, Faith Kipyegon, and Yulimar Rojas to win the award!
