The Stark Arena will be the host of the 2022 World Indoor Athletics Championships. I love the facility. In 2017, I was able to cover the 2017 European Indoor Championships. The facility was fun, the crowd was into it, and I enjoyed my walks around Belgrade.
BELGRADE (SRB): World Athletics visited Belgrade before next March´s World Indoor Championships. The visit was planned for last year but could not happen due to covid. Stark Arena where the event will be held was inspected. Representatives of the Local Organizing Committee tried to explain in as much detail as possible about how the preparations for the biggest athletic event ever held in the city are continuing. Per reports, the organisers are on the right track.
