Trayvon Bromell is back! With his fine racing this season, and his exciting 9.80 win at the USOT for the Men’s 100 meters. Now, Europe will see what we have seen and know, in 2021, Trayvon Bromell is back and racing better than ever! Trayvon will compete in Herculis Monaco, his first time since 2015.
This writer loves Monaco. The stadium is a classic, and the last 90 minutes just has one amazing event after another. I believe in 2016, the men’s pole vault, the women’s high jump, and the plethora of races that went on had a crowd of 15,000 on their feet!
Looking forward to this one…
MONACO (MON): Trayvon Bromell has tasted victory at Herculis before, having been part of the US relay team which won in Monaco in 2015. Yet the fastest man in the world this year is still waiting for his first point-scoring Diamond League win as he prepares to make his first appearance on the circuit this year on Friday. The 25-year-old is the world leader with 9.77 in Florida last month, yet he will face a tough international field in the 100m Monaco, with the likes of Canada’s Andre De Grasse, South Africa’s Akani Simbine from 9.84 in Hungary, and Stockholm Diamond League winner Ronnie Baker all on the start list.
