How do I put this. Jenny Simpson has won gold (2011 Daegu), silver (2013 Moscow and 2017 London WC), and bronze (2016 Rio Olympics). Jenny has won medals in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017. In 2019, Jenny finished 8th in the 1,500m final in Daegu. Jenny Simpson knows how to make teams, and win medals. Her racing skills are second to none in American middle-distance running, Jenny has begun 2021 slowly, but seems ready to roll in Eugene.
I would never bet against her in a final. She has eyes on the back of her head, and composure into the last 30 meters, where she would be, well, deadly.
