GAINESVILLE (USA, Apr 16-17): In the Tom Jones Memorial, Puerto-Rican Jasmine Camacho-Quinn went to equal seventh on the world all-time list for 100m hurdles with 12.32 national record, improving her best from 12.40. Behind her British sisters, Tiffany Porter and Cindy Sember both 12.62. World champion Steven Gardiner took the 400m with 44.71. Justin Gatlin won a high-class 100m in 9.98 (+1.4). Next were Andre De Grasse 9.99, Kenny Bednarek 10.03 PB, Noah Lyles 10.08 and Isiah Young 10.18. But JoVaughn Martin, whose previous best was 10.40, was faster in college division and equalled the world lead of 9.94. Fred Kerley won the 200m in 20.24 (+0.9, equalled PB) over Jereem Richards 20.30 and Aaron Brown 20.43. U18 Erriyon Knighton won his race in 20.39 (+0.5). Sha’Carri Richardson won the women’s in 22.11 (+1.0, her 2nd best of the career) over Lynna Irby 22.57 and Blessing Okagbare 22.66. In the 100 m Javianne Oliver clocked 11.12 (+2.2) with Tianna Bartoletta second 11.16. World champion Grant Holloway clocked a world lead 13.07 (+1.3) for 110m hurdles after a 13.17, second Trey Cunningham 13.28 PB. Jessica Beard won the 400 m in 51.00 ahead of Kaylin Whitney 51.04. Olympic champion Christian Taylor opened in the triple jump with 16.19m. Norway´s Thomas Mardal won the hammer with a PB of 76.18m. Jazmin Sawyers beat Tianna Bartoletta (6.57m to 6.46m) in the long jump. Other university winners included Lance Lang (20.39/200m PB, +0.2 over Matt Boling 20.43), Elija Godwin (45.34/400m PB), Jayla Kirkland (11.13/100m, +1.4, PB) and Abby Steiner (22.79/200m, +0.4). Adidas team (Strother, Hall, Knighton and Holloway) clocked 3:00.75 in the 4×400 m over Tumbleweed TC (Taylor, De Grasse, Oduduru, Givans) 3:03.41. First day had bad weather.
