Ashton Eaton with Harry Marra, Olympic Trials, photo by Mike Deering / The Shoe Addicts
I met Harry Marra while he was coach at SF State. I was competing at the Johnny Mathis Invitational.
Johnny Mathis was a world-class High Jumper, as well as a fine singer. Harry Marra asked Johnny Mathis
to help him build the program, which he did.
Harry Marra coached Ashton Eaton to gold medals in London 2012 and Rio 2016, something never done before.
Harry Marra also coached Ashton Eaton and Brianne Thiesen to medals a World Indoor Championships, something never done before.
