Nikki Hiltz is one of the U.S. most exciting middle distance runners. Coached in high school, Aptos High(Aptos, CA), by Dan Gruber, Nikki went to the Univesity of Oregon, then moved to the University of Arkansas where she was coached by Lance Harter. Competing for adidas, Nikki is now coached by Mac Fleet. She has PBs at 800m o 2:01.37 and 1,500m at 4:01.52.
This was my first time interviewing Nikki and I enjoyed her enthusiasm and desire to compete!
Nikki is competing at 800m in ATL Meet #3 on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021.
Special thanks to Shawn Price on hosting ATL pressers and Mike Deering / The Shoe Addicts, on producing this zoom interview.
