“Racing on the US circuit is new and exciting for me.”
And Charlie Grice seems to be adjusting well to this new experience.
The Brit star, with an 800m PB of 1:45.72, Mile of 3:52.64 and 1,500m PB of 3:30.62 (4th All-Time Brit!), is looking forward to run fast once again in the 1000 meters at the New Balance Grand Prix at the Ocean Breeze indoor track on Staten Island.
Last week in Arkansas at the 800 meters Grice was second behind Bryce Hoppel, clocking a time in 1:45.62, just off his outdoor pb of 1:45.53 and barely holding of Erik Sowinski. Hoppel will be competing once again at Ocean Breeze in the 1000 as well.
“I am really excited to race at Ocean Breeze,” said Grice, noticing the fast track he will be competing on.
“I have my eye on the British 1000 record and my 1:45 from Arkansas last week shows that my fitness is there.
Expect fireworks!
