LIEVIN (FRA): Armand Duplantis and Hugues Fabrice Zango have been added to the field for the next Gold meeting of the World Athletics Indoor Tour. The Meeting Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais Trophée EDF on 9 February also features Beatrice Chepkoech. World record-holder Duplantis takes on a star-studded pole vault roster involving Renaud Lavillenie, Piotr Lisek, Sam Kendricks and Thiago Braz. Zango, fresh from his 18.07m world indoor triple jump record last month, is after his third consecutive victory at the meeting. World steeplechase record-holder Chepkoech goes over the flat with Lemlem Hailu, who set a world indoor U20 1500m record in Lievin in 2020. Grant Holloway and Samuel Tefera are among those already announced.
Hugues Fabrice Zango became the first athlete to triple jump over 18 metres indoors.
