On May 21, 2017, I met with David Bedford. David Bedford is the former 10,000m world record holder, a man who added color and excitement to British athletics, and the man who lovingly built the London marathon elite field into the most impressive marathon in history. David Bedford has one of the finest mustaches in the known world. I also believe that his mustache is trademarked. (another story).

In this 52:55 interview, David and I spoke about the sport, but also drug testing and how important it is to keep the sport clean. David Bedford. understands the nuances of the sport and the challenges of the sport.
David Bedford has been kind enough to answer my questions over the years.
The interview was done the week of the 2016 Highgate Harriers Night of 10,000m PBs. I love that event. I also enjoy speaking with Mr. Bedford. It was an amazing interview.
Special thanks to David Bedford for his time and honesty.
Special thanks to Brian Eder on managing our Sound Cloud interview.
