I loved the 2020 World Athletics Continental Tour Gold. We had athletics to watch, and with the Diamond League meets, athletics fans had exceptional athletes and performances in this pandemic year. We look hopefully to 2021.

WACT Gold 2021 announced
MONACO (MON): The new Olympic Stadium in Tokyo will host the first World Athletics Continental Tour Gold meeting of next year. The meeting will be a test event for Tokyo 2020 12 weeks later. The 2nd edition of the series was officially confirmed and comprise 11 meetings in 10 countries. New meet is Irena Szewinska Memorial in Bydgoszcz, Poland. It starts with Tokyo and ends with Nairobi. The dates: 9 May – Continental Tour Meeting, Tokyo (JPN); 19 May – 60th Golden Spike, Ostrava (CZE); 5 Jun – Racers Adidas Grand Prix, Kingston (JAM); 6-Jun – FBK Games, Hengelo (NED); 8 Jun – Paavo Nurmi Games, Turku (FIN); 30 Jun – Irena Szewinska Memorial/Bydgoszcz Cup, Bydgoszcz (POL); 6-Jul – Gyulai István Memorial, Székesfehérvár (HUN); 5 Sep – Kamila Skolimowska Memorial, Chorzów (Silesia) (POL); 14 Sep – Zagreb Hanzekovic Memorial, Zagreb (CRO); 18 Sep – Kip Keino Classic, Nairobi (KEN); Date TBC – Continental Tour Meeting, Nanjing (CHN).
