WA Council about ANA Programme

MONACO (MON): World Athletics Council will meet on-line on Tuesday and Wednesday. Among main topics is Russian Taskforce report including the discussion about the ANA (Authorised Neutral Athlete) programme. Also confirmation of dates of some of the future championships is expected. That includes WA Congress in 2021 and World XC Championships in Bathurst, Australia in 2022, World Indoor Championships in Belgrade 2022 and World U20 Championships in Cali 2022. Also discussed will be the new World Road Running Championships which should launch in 2023. Progress reports are expected from all upcoming WAS events and Olympic Games in Tokyo. That includes World Indoors in Nanjing 2021, World U20 in Nairobi 2021. Also World Championships 2022 Oregon and 2023 Budapest and Olympic Games 2024 in Paris.
