Third best Chinese ever: Peng Jianhua 2:08:50
NANJING (CHN, Nov 29): Fast times at Nanjing Marathon which was billed also as Chinese championships. Asian CC Champion Peng Jianhua (23) won the men´s category in great life-time best 2:08:50. It is also third best all-time by Chinese male runner. Second World Championships 20th placer Yang Shaohui (28) also big PB 2:08:56 and third Duo Bujie who is Asian Games bronze medalist also PB 2:09:03. In the fourth place as last sub 2:10 was 23 years old Chen Tianyu in 2:09:55. Three more finished under 2:13. Fifth only 21 years old Suolang Cairen 2:12:13 PB ahead of Wu Xuangdong 2:12:50 PB and Li Chunhui 2:12:56 PB. Asian CC Champion Li Dan was the best woman and improved her PB 2:29:20 to 2:26:59. 23 years old Jin Mingming got 2:27:08 PB as second and third Bai Li who improved by more than 10 minutes from 2:39 to 2:29:10. In the fourth place Pan Yinli 2:29:19 PB with Yao Miao 2:30:41 PB fifth and Shi Liying sixth also PB 2:30:43. Results from Heinrich Hubbeling.
