Featuring Alicja Konieczek
Alicja Konieczek is a Polish steeplechaser who is now part of the On Athletic Club, coached by Dathan Ritzenhein. We spoke with Alicja a few weeks ago, and discussed how she came to athletics, how athletics was participated in Poland, and how she came to compete in the United States.
Alicja Konieczek told us about how challenging learning English was, as one takes college classes in the U.S. Alicja has a good sense of humor, and wants to become an even better steeplechaser.

Alicja Konieczek has a PB in the steeplechase of 9:36.09. Alicja competed in the 2011 World Youth Championships, 2013 European Junior Championships, 2018 European Athletics Championships, and the 2019 World Oudoor Athletics Championships. In 2019, Alicja Konieczek won the Universiade steeplechase, her biggest victory outside U.S.
