Wojciech Nowicki has the amazing ability to takes bronzes in World Championships. Wojciech has done just that in 2015 (Beijing, 78.55m), 2017 (London, 78.03m) and 2019 (Doha, 77.38m). In 2016 Rio, Wojciech Nowicki also took the bronze with a 77.33m throw.
In European Champs, Wojciech took bronze in 2016, (Amsterdam, 77.53m) and in 2018, in Berlin, Wojciech took gold! His throw was 80.12m.
Many times we see him battling Pawel Fadjek, the top Polish thrower.

WLOCLAWEK (POL, Aug 28): Wojciech Nowicki produced the second longest throw in the world this year of 80.28m, also a European lead, to beat world champion Pawel Fajdek (78.61m) in the hammer on the opening day of the Polish Championships. The women’s event also saw a good standard with Katarzyna Furmanek winning with 72.85m. Malwina Kopron was second with 70.94m and Joanna Fiodorow third on 67.19m. Ewa Swoboda won the 100m in 11.52 into a strong headwind of 1.3m/sec. Kamila Lićwinko jumped 1.88m to win the high jump. Adrian Swiderski won the triple jump with a final-round 16.38m (-1.9) to pass Karol Hoffman (16.29m). Sofia Ennaoui took the 1500m with 4:15.98. Other winners were Norbert Kobielski (2.26m in the high jump), MichaÅ‚ Rozmys (3:53.09 in the 1500m beating Marcin Lewandowski 3:54.13), Mateusz Kaczmarek 8:57.88 and Matylda Kowal 9:57.16 in the 3000m steeplechase with Karolina MÅ‚odawska (13.55m in the triple jump). Men 100 m winner is Remigiusz Olszewski with 10.51 (-1.6).
