RunBlogRun presents Socialing The Distance with Larry Eder Featuring Des Linden Clip 2 – Talking Yourself Through Recovery
Des Linden takes 2018 Boston Marathon, photo by Brooks running
Des Linden recently competed in the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials. Des was heart breakingly close to making the team, she was 4th place, less than 12 second back. Sally Kipyego was in third in 2:28.52 and Des Linden was 4th in 2:29.03. A gutty run, and an emotional run, for all involved.
Des Linden spoke to us in Clip #2, on the need for recovery.
Special thanks to Mike Deering, The Shoe Addicts, on the management and production with Socialing the Distance.
