RunBlogRun presents Socialing The Distance with Larry Eder Featuring Coach Lance Brauman, Pure Athletics
Lance Brauman is one of the finest coaches in the world, focusing on the sprints and jumps. Just how good is Lance? Well, his athletes now lead the world in the men’s 100m (wind-aided) and womens’ 200m and 400m. Noah Lyles just ran a wind aided 9.93 (+4.0) and Shaunae Miller Uibo went 22.61 at 200m and 50.52 on July 4.

I have been lucky enough to know Lance since 2012. I have found him to be a man who combines the art and science of coaching. He is a man not prone to, well hyperbole (my Dad would have said, “Lance is a no b.s. kind of guy”). Lance is a technical coach, the man can break down the 100m into basic movements, and help the athlete improve the game.
Most importantly, Lance Brauman is a man of integrity. His life experiences have shaped into the man, the coach, the father, the husband he is today.
Special thanks to Lance Brauman. Special thanks to Mike Deering and Adam Johnson-Eder, aka The Shoe Addicts, who managed and produced this interview for RunBlogRun.
