The high altitude in St. Moritz will be the home, in near future, as training in Estados Unidos has, well, its inherent challenges.

PAPENDAL (NED): World champion and World record holder Sifan Hassan will be using now St. Moritz as a new base in the near future. “Maybe it is better that way, postponement can also work to my advantage. I try to think like that,” she said about Olympic Games beeing held next year. In recent months, she was stuck in her native Ethiopia due to all travel restrictions. Sifan Hassan is now starting the competition season carefully again with first meet in Monaco in August. Now going back to America to train, she still calls it “too dangerous” because of corona. St. Moritz will therefore become her European base in the coming months. When it gets too cold there, she plans to return to Ethiopia, if everything stays safe there. Writes ad.nl.
